Ice and Coal Restaurant in Madrid
In the middle of Gran Vía, just in front of the Primark is the restaurant Hielo y Carbón, of the well-known Hotel Hyatt Central. A place where you can eat while gossiping to all passers-by on the important avenue of Madrid.
The restaurant, run by chef Pablo Bernal de la Cierva, has an extensive menu inspired by Peruvian cuisine, with some touches Iberian.
You can find portions of Iberian ham as well as Lima causes, or with tartares and tiraditos with Iberian secret dishes.
All very well taken care of and elaborated with the necessary professionalism so that each diner enjoys a gastronomic experience according to the place where they are.
If you go in mode "it's Tuesday, I'm hungry and I want to eat well but I do not have much time" because the executive menu, for 18 euros is an option you could enjoy.
The brunch of Ice and Coal
The Sun ingo en Hielo y Carbón you can taste a very special brunch, accompanied by live music and varied cocktails.
At the brunch you have the possibility to try hot and cold dishes, divided into 2 specific stations for each one: the "coal" zone and the "ice" zone. There is also an area for salads with lots of vegetables for your choice and one for sweets with pastries and that kind of fun stuff.
In the "hot" zone you have the chance to try traditional recipes of Spanish gastronomy: tripe, tortillas, rice, as well as some Peruvian delicacies such as arroz chaufa or lomo saltado .
In the "cold" area you will find salads, ceviches and seafood. Is not it wonderful?
If you're in brunch mode, get ready to eat until you explode. Not only do you have access to the dishes available at the buffet, you can also ask the cooks for some extra preparations, especially in the case of seafood.
If you want to go for Sunday brunches, simply come between 1: 00 pm and 4:00 pm to eat and drink with the fun views of the Gran Vía.
